What are the benefits?
With Women's Best DIM Pro Capsules, we've developed a product that specifically supports estrogen balance and can help ease PMS symptoms, hormonal acne, and cycle irregularities, contributing to greater hormonal balance.
DIM stands for diindolylmethane, a natural plant compound formed in the body when digesting cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale, and Brussels sprouts. It's nearly impossible to get an effective amount through diet alone, since reaching a daily dose of 200 mg DIM would require eating several kilograms of broccoli. That's why we use concentrated DIM at this exact dose, which clinical studies have shown is especially effective and well tolerated.
What makes our formula so special.
DIM directly targets estrogen metabolism by promoting the body's preferred estrogen breakdown pathway, which can help reduce hormone-related symptoms and bring hormonal balance back into equilibrium. Clinical studies show positive effects on PMS-related symptoms and hormonal skin issues, while also supporting breast tissue health. DIM is also increasingly being studied in relation to cell regulation and antioxidant processes.
The formula also contains 27 mg of sulforaphane, another bioactive plant compound from broccoli that's being studied for its role in activating the body's own cell-protective mechanisms, as well as its influence on antioxidant and anti-inflammatory processes. As one of the most intensively researched plant compounds in recent years, early lab and human studies suggest sulforaphane may positively influence certain cellular processes.
For optimal absorption of both active ingredients, we've also included BioPerine®, a patented black pepper extract known and scientifically studied for its bioavailability-enhancing properties.
Why estrogen metabolism plays a key role.
Estrogen is broken down in the body through various metabolic pathways, some considered less favorable and others more beneficial for hormonal balance. When this balance is disrupted by stress, diet, or hormonal fluctuations, it can show up as symptoms like PMS, breakouts, or an irregular cycle. This is exactly where DIM comes in, helping support the body in metabolizing estrogen through the more favorable pathway.
Our Women's Best DIM Pro Capsules are therefore an ideal choice for women who want to specifically and naturally support their hormonal health, whether the focus is on specific symptoms like PMS, hormonal acne, and cycle irregularities, or simply on proactively looking after their hormonal well-being. With clinically researched DIM at a well-tolerated dose, sulforaphane, and BioPerine®, we offer a thoughtfully designed formula that specifically targets estrogen metabolism, helping support balanced hormone levels.
How do I take it?
Take 1 capsule daily in the morning or at midday with a meal.
Good to know: If your urine temporarily darkens after taking this product, that's generally completely normal and nothing to worry about. It's caused by metabolic byproducts of the DIM (diindolylmethane) content, which are excreted through urine.

DIM – scientifically studied.
DIM has already been studied in several clinical trials in relation to estrogen metabolism, breast and prostate health, and cervical cell changes.
Its influence on estrogen metabolism is especially well researched: controlled studies show that DIM can affect which metabolic pathways estrogens are broken down through in the body. In a randomized, placebo-controlled study of women taking tamoxifen, DIM increased the ratio of certain estrogen metabolites, as well as levels of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG).
Biological effects of DIM have also been observed in relation to breast and prostate health, as well as cervical cell changes. However, this doesn't establish scientifically proven protection against or treatment of cancer, as the clinical data isn't sufficient for that at this stage.

Estrogen – the key female hormone.
Estrogen is one of the most important female sex hormones and is produced primarily in the ovaries. It influences the menstrual cycle, fertility, bone health, skin, and overall well-being. There isn't just one estrogen, but several forms, most notably estradiol, estrone, and estriol, each present to different degrees depending on the life stage. Estradiol is the dominant form during the fertile years and has the strongest influence on hormonal balance.
When hormones fall out of balance.
Estrogen doesn't work alone, but always in interplay with other hormones, particularly progesterone. While estrogen dominates in the first half of the cycle and helps build up the uterine lining, among other things, progesterone takes the lead in the second half, preparing the body for a possible pregnancy. A healthy ratio between the two hormones is key to a balanced cycle, stable mood, and overall well-being. When this balance is thrown off, it can result in typical symptoms like PMS, mood swings, sleep problems, or cycle irregularities.
Why consistent use matters.
After you take it, DIM is quickly absorbed by the body and reaches its peak in the blood after about 2 to 3 hours. After roughly 24 hours, most of it has been broken down. For continuous support of estrogen metabolism, consistent daily use is therefore recommended.
Clinical studies also show that DIM forms active breakdown products in the body, some of which are present in higher blood concentrations than DIM itself and remain active for significantly longer. This means the body actively processes DIM and uses it on multiple levels. Since different people metabolize DIM at different rates, an adequate and consistent dose is important, which is another reason we use a clinically tested amount of 200 mg per capsule.

Sulforaphane and cancer prevention – what the research shows.
Sulforaphane is being intensively studied for its potential role in cancer prevention. Lab and animal studies show that it can influence various mechanisms involved in cancer development, including activating the body's own protective and detoxification systems, inhibiting the proliferation of certain cancer cells, and promoting apoptosis, the programmed death of damaged cells.
Its anti-inflammatory and epigenetic effects are also being studied. Early human clinical studies show that sulforaphane is absorbed by the body and can influence certain cancer-relevant biomarkers. Sulforaphane is therefore considered one of the most promising areas of research in cancer prevention, though further clinical studies are still needed to confirm these effects.

Optimal absorption thanks to BioPerine®.
BioPerine® is a patented black pepper extract derived from the fruit of Piper nigrum, known for its high piperine content. Piperine is the bioactive compound in black pepper, shown in several clinical studies to enhance bioavailability.
Research has shown that BioPerine® can improve the body's absorption of various nutrients and plant compounds, partly by affecting the intestinal lining and slowing the metabolism of certain compounds, allowing more of the active ingredient to enter the bloodstream.
